Margo Health
Margo Health is a redesigned reporting system and redesigned sexual assault evidence kit (rape kit) for victims of gender violence. Margo is named after the creator of the rape kit, Martha Goddard. Margo works with various local responding partners in the New York Area collaborating closely with SANE nurses, government officials and survivor groups. Margo has won various awards including Fast Company’s 2020 World Changing Ideas Awards.
Work at Margo has included founding the company, designing the app, the website, and the redesigned kit. Work has also included pitching at various pitch competitions including the SoGal Ventures 2020 Pitch where Margo was a winner. Margo designs have also been presented at the Design Indaba Conference in South Africa in 2020 and the Index Awards in 2021.
